Headphone Redesign
Old Headphone Design
In this project, the main objective was to redesign an old package that was in desperate need of redesigning. When looking at the original, I noticed the lack of direction it had and the jumbled design choices used.
My Redesign
When redesigning the headphone box, I wanted to make the new design more sleek, futuristic, and reflective. With this, I hoped to invoke the feel of the actual product and the message to be more cohesive, using some of the same things it has.
Die-line For Redesign
The challenge I faced the most with this project was getting the measurements right to create a physical mockup. Utilizing Illustrator’s (and physical) rulers helped guide me when making adjustments and practicing with dummy models.
Display Stand
The creation of actual mockups in addition to physical prototypes really sold my redesign in helping people envision what things would look like in store. For these mockups, I used photoshop to cut out, blend images, and add shadows.
